BMW M4 Tin Top Correction & CSL
We really enjoyed this one! Hot old day too... This new client came to us after recommendations from a previous customer, His M4 was looking a little tired/scratched up and generally dull. After having to reschedule on what was the only wet & windy day for weeks! We eventually got round to sorting this out, a weekend spent on this beut got her swirl free and coated with CSL & C2 ready for some roof down driving for the remainder of summer.
Site Title
Snow foam to remove any light surface contamination.
Then a full bodywork wash by hand before moving on to the clay bar to remove any bonded contaminates.
Not to forget a thorough clean round all badges with soft bristle brushes.
All four wheels given a full decontamination and wash down by hand before a final rinse down of all external areas. ( For clarification we do often utilise old washmitts for wheels, we don't cross contaminate)
After fully drying the paintwork ( with a brand new towel ) , it was time to fully mask all areas including glass and trims.
It was then on to the two stage polishing process using the trusty Rupes and a selection of pads.
Plenty of progress being made!
Nasty scratch on the front bumper, parts had gone pretty deep however mostly removed!
After a full panel wipedown C1 was used to seal all external areas, along with C5 on all wheels
We then pulled the car into the sun to inspect our work and check for any marring.
After removing all polishing dust it was time for a wipe down of panel wipe before Gtechniq application.
After finishing off any fiddly bits it was time for a generous coating of G1 on ALL glass surfaces.
Exhaust tips polished and sealed for added effect.
Gtechniq C2 used on all wheels and T2 on tyres to finish.
After around 30 hours we were left with the below and what a transformation!
